Rebel Spirit Music is back at Flux Studios this month just in time for Halloween. Join us on Thursday the 28th day of October, IN costume as we ring in the scary weekend with some frightening bands {and, by frightening we mean awesome}. No canceling this event, we promise ~ cross our hearts, hope to die, stick a needle in our ear! Show up on time to guarantee entrance and be sure to request your name be put on the list by simply shooting us a line to rsvp{at}rebelspiritmusic{dot}com or you WON’T get in at all! This one is gonna be a biggie in support of Doctor’s Without Borders and promoting our friends at Sonic Scoop so don’t be a scared to drop a few extra bones at the door in honour of a great cause. Come ~ dress up to drink up and let us trick you into eating ear candy treats…
In the meantime. Check this iPhone footage out from our friends Atomic Tom. Yeah, so it drops calls and there’s no service in the subway but calls doesn’t mean the instrument apps can entertain bored straphangers ~ Atomic Tom can Take Me Out anytime and here’s why:
[New York, NY] Universal Republic has added Rebel Spirit Artist ATOMIC TOM to their roster just in time for the release of their highly anticipated full length album. The debut was engineered by Jeffrey Swart + Kyle Paas and produced by Ben Romans with the talent of many incredible friends at Kingsland Recordings in Williamsburg. ATOMIC TOM helped RSM benefit the prevention of suicide February 12, 2009 and played the Rockwood Series on March 5, 2008. Luke, Phil, Eric and Tobias are proof that hard work and dedication is the deciding factor in whether or not you always get what you want.
