In the meantime. Check this iPhone footage out from our friends Atomic Tom. Yeah, so it drops calls and there’s no service in the subway but calls doesn’t mean the instrument apps can entertain bored straphangers ~ Atomic Tom can Take Me Out anytime and here’s why:

What Happened Last Night?

Great music, good vibes, crazy talent, and a relaxed atmosphere is the mission of the new and improved Rebel Spirit Music, which recently kicked off it’s latest series at Flux Studios in the Lower East Side.  Complete with live recordings of the artists (courtesy of Modern Vintage Records), beer and wine flowing, and an exclusive guest list that gains you entry to not only the party, but also to the fabulous rooftop where the music is streamed for your total listening pleasure, Rebel Spirit has created a hip scene that’s reminiscent of your favorite house party jam session.

Last night was a killer line-up that included the gorgeous and talented Rachel Platten, dazzling the crowd with some of her newest hits, the ever-classic Casey Shea, songwriting guru Wes Hutchinson, and well-seasoned performer Jon Solo.  Audience members mingled between the rooftop, lounge area, and main stage as New York’s finest sang their hearts out, and even exchanged clever banter- particularly between friends and former band mates Shea and Hutchinson.  The room maintained a healthy balance of laughter and silence as people gathered close, sat barefoot on the floor with friends, and enjoyed the private oasis Flux Studios offers.

To be kept in the know about this and future events, be sure to check the website regularly and get yourself on that guest list for the next show.  Follow us @rebeltweets to you be the first to know when select songs and footage from the IN sessions are posted for your [boob tube] viewing pleasure when you subscribe to rebelsONdemand!
