Rebel Spirit Music is a community and a network for fans, artists and industry professionals alike.

Late in 2007 a group of musicians and music lovers, disenchanted by the current music system, got togetherĀ and came up with the idea to create a space that would help, support and develop the careers of independent artists both individually and as a community.

Big thoughts led to big talk, which led to big action and low and behold Rebel Spirit Music was born.

The creators of Rebel Spirit Music recognized a trend within the local music scene growing in Manhattan. Great music, great people, all pursuing their individual careers, but not utilizing what and who was right around them to take things to the next level.

Our goal is to draw the community together. We offer a FREE showcase of amazing artists monthly at Flux Studios. An event designed to share wonderful music and to spend time networking face to face. We all agree that the internet is a lovely place to meet, but in person it is twice as fun. Due to limited space this event is RSVP only! So get on the list!

We are a team of 4 fine ladies who, together, are able to offer you services to help you fulfill any part of your career goal, from booking to online media campaigns, promotions, image consulting and more! We know that as artists, it is hard to manage each facet of your growing career and we are here to help.

Rebel Spirit Music is here to draw artists and music lovers together to grow and move forward as one.

DEENA GOODMAN spent her youth in Teaneck, New Jersey singing all sorts of songs on the Karaoke stereo her parents bought her in the 9th grade. Fortunately, at 18, she gave up karaoke for a real band and moved to nitty gritty Manhattan where she began singing around town at some of the city’s premiere venues. She has written, recorded and played with some of the cities biggest names, loving every moment.
NICOLE MARIE POLEC the creative guru behind thai iced tea, grew up in the town of Romeo, Michigan. She started shooting at the age of 17 and never stopped using that passion. It is rumored that one new years eve she landed in New York and hasnt looked back since. from that night on, going home and milking goats on the family farm was no longer an option. Nicole enjoys a great game of stickball with the kids in the park, acting out on the subway, and music that makes you say lets dance until the morning sun or wow, that bites.NICOLE MARIE POLEC the creative guru behind thai iced tea, grew up in the town of Romeo, Michigan. Art and culture in New York City is constantly flourishing, introducing incredible talent with each passing minute. The passion and drive artists have to be successful and share their work is inspiring, as are the stories of how they got there. I started this blog as a place to meet these artists, identify with them, support, share, and see how we are all connected in this evolving community.
